Ashley Gunstock
Ashley Gunstock is married with a 9 year old son and is a teacher, professional theatrical Producer & Artistic Director and actor of 28 years experience. In his acting capacity, Ashley was an original cast member of The Bill and has appeared in many other television, film & theatrical productions - touring the UK three times.
He has worked in the fields of banking & computing and in music, fashion and greengrocery retail outlets. His interests include art, literature and sport - especially football!
Ashley lives in Wanstead in the Borough of Redbridge from where he maintains a high profile community presence. He has represented the Green Party for 18 years and is involved in the local anti-war, peace, anti-fascist, Fairtrade & LA21 groups and is often approached by local residents for help concerning such diverse issues as: education, crime, transport, planning and waste minimisation.
Ashley stood as the Green Party candidate for the Havering & Redbridge constituency, at the primary Greater London Authority (GLA) elections in 2000 and also in 2004 and has been continually proactive in his field having good working relationships with the Green Group on the GLA. Therefore he has the requisite skills, knowledge and experience to represent the Havering & Redbridge constituency as its Assembly member.
