Volunteering for the Green Party

Support from volunteers is key to Green Party activity.

Voluntary help is needed at all levels of the party and in all regions. An important principal of the Green Party is that everyone has a role to play and can make a difference.

The national office has opportunities for admin, press, communications, research and political volunteers. Current opportunities are detailed below.

National office admin volunteers

Without help with mailing and telephone answering much of the work accomplished in party office would not get started. If party members help with these day to day tasks it leaves the paid staff with more time to do the specific jobs that they've been trained and recruited to do.

Volunteer Assistants - Office of the Leader and Deputy Leader

We're building a team of volunteers to support the Leader and Deputy Leader. Can you make a regular commitment (anything from a few hours a week upwards) to help manage correspondence, arrange meetings and travel and other key 'behind-the-scenes' tasks?
