Jonathan Bartley came to Worcester to support Louise Griffiths in Battenhall ward

20 April 2018

Jonathan Bartley Co-Leader of the Green Party came to Worcester to support Louise Griffiths with some campaigning in Battenhall ward.

Jonathan said:

'I hope that local campaigner Louise Griffiths in Battenhall will become Worcester's third Green city councillor. As well as campaigning on environmental issues such as air quality and recycling, the Greens have consistently called for more funding for local services. In Worcester it has been shown that the Greens can make a positive difference to people's lives.'

Louise said, "One Green in the room makes an amazing difference. We need to get our distinctive environmental and social justice message across in all meetings. To do that I need your support."

Petition: Cycle parking at Worcester City Museum

https://www.change.org/p/worcestershire-county-council-cycle-parking-at-worcester-city-museum

Worcester City Museum has no public cycle parking. The City Museum is situated on a cycle lane. Cycle parking would mean that City Museum visitors can make sustainable transport choices and help ease the City's traffic congestion.
