Worcester Green Party members join huge anti-Brexit demo

24 June 2018

Worcester Green Party members joined 100,000 people in a demonstration in London (23/6/18) in support of a new referendum over Britain's final Brexit deal.

Marjory Bisset, Worcester Green Party campaigner, said:

'The tide is turning. It was inspiring to march with so many like-minded people from all over the country. We are demanding a people's vote – a final say on the final Brexit deal.'

Green Party MP Caroline Lucas was among the speakers at a rally after the demonstration calling for a 'People's Vote' on the final Brexit deal. On freedom of movement, she said that it was a 'precious gift to be able to travel, work, study and live and love in 27 countries'.

Petition: Cycle parking at Worcester City Museum

Worcester City Museum has no public cycle parking. The City Museum is situated on a cycle lane. Cycle parking would mean that City Museum visitors can make sustainable transport choices and help ease the City's traffic congestion.
