Green Party joins protest against proroguing parliament

2 September 2019

Neil and Marjory attended the demonstration in Worcester High Street about the suspension of Parliament.

After quoting several cabinet ministers who earlier this year were opposed to the suspension of Parliament, Neil said:
'Brexit was supposedly about getting back control. Boris Johnson is taking away control from the Parliament that he supposedly wanted to give control back to. It's an absolute mess and an insult to anyone who believes in democracy. Whether you are for or against Brexit, the suspension of Parliament is wrong and sets a dangerous precedent for our country. Let's continue to fight for our democracy against those who would happily take it away.'

Petition: Cycle parking at Worcester City Museum

https://www.change.org/p/worcestershire-county-council-cycle-parking-at-worcester-city-museum

Worcester City Museum has no public cycle parking. The City Museum is situated on a cycle lane. Cycle parking would mean that City Museum visitors can make sustainable transport choices and help ease the City's traffic congestion.
