We are in the midst of the 6th mass extinction event, with extinctions occurring faster than at any time in the last 65 million years. 'Bioabundance' is in decline, with recent studies showing that insects in particular seem to be disappearing fast. If it continues, this will have profound consequences for mankind and for our planet. Dave Goulson will explain why insects are in decline, and suggest how we should tackle this crisis, first by turning our gardens into oases for life, and second by fundamentally changing the way we grow food.

Green Party Meetings
All Green Party members are welcome to come along to our monthly meeting to discuss our plans for Worcester and Worcestershire.
Our next meeting starts at 7:30pm on Wednesday 19th May. Our monthly business meetings will now be online via Zoom. Please contact Nick Weeks by email if you would like to attend. If you need any help setting up Zoom, please get in touch.
Worcester City Museum has no public cycle parking. The City Museum is situated on a cycle lane. Cycle parking would mean that City Museum visitors can make sustainable transport choices and help ease the City's traffic congestion.
